Opening Bonfire ~ September
We kick-off each year with our bonfire. It is an opportunity for incoming Tiger Scouts (first graders) to learn a little about Cub Scouts and our Pack. It's also an opportunity for our existing cub scouts to see each other. As with all pack nights, Bonfire is a family event where both Scouts, parents and siblings are encouraged to attend.
At Bonfire we:
For Date, Time and Location, see our Calendar.
Reminders:
Please check Pack Updates for the most current information.
At Bonfire we:
- Welcome new cub scouts
- Have applications for new cub scouts
- Rally scouts to sell popcorn (our only fundraiser for the pack which supplements pack dues)
- Make SMORES!
For Date, Time and Location, see our Calendar.
Reminders:
- Please offer to help with making smores...it can be quite a task with so many excited boys!
- It is VERY important to be with, and keep an eye on, your children at Bonfire. While we love the social aspect of Bonfire, safety should be everyone's first concern.
- For new Cub Scout parents, we hold a Parent Orientation within 1 to 2 weeks after Bonfire.
